What's a St. Bart's Service Like?
We open our doors to all who seek God
Our rich liturgical tradition includes the use of vestments, music, and candles.
While we fall on the “high church” end liturgically, neither the facilities nor the people are formal. One is more likely to see casual clothes at Sunday services than suits and ties. The depth of our spiritual experience cannot be measured by our casual appearance. We invite you to visit us anytime to share this experience.
We believe that when we celebrate the Eucharist, Jesus is present with us.

Sunday, Nov. 2nd: Endowment Board Meeting
Endowment Board meeting, 1:00 p.m.,—Taylor Room
Sunday, Nov 9th: One service only
A parish-wide listening session to address the emotions and concerns raised by the departure of our rector is scheduled for Nov. 9. Canon to the Ordinary Alicia Weltner will facilitate our conversations. We will consolidate all three services into a single liturgy at 10:30 a.m. We will serve a breakfast both before and after the service. The session will begin with a brief recap of the events leading to Angela’s resignation.
Following that presentation, we will divide attendees into small groups, each of which will have a facilitator. Every attendee will be given a safe space to voice their feelings. We will end the discussions at about 1:30 p.m. with each facilitator reporting on their group’s conversation. Should there be sufficient interest, additional listening sessions will be conducted later. Your vestry urges all members to try to attend this listening session and to retain a heart open to hearing the voices of fellow parishioners. We walk with you in faith and compassion, holding each of you in prayer as we journey forward together. You are beloved members of this body of Christ, and your presence is a true blessing to our shared life at St. Bartholomew’s.
Offering: Flower Delivery
Please donate small vases!
The flower delivery guild reaches out to parishioners who cannot attend church with a vase of flowers and a visit. This important ministry needs your help. We are almost out of small vases! The vases need to be small but have a wide enough opening for several stems, clean and clear glass. Please place your contribution outside of the sacristy door.
Offering: The Stewardship Tree Has Sprouted!
We’re excited to invite you to take part in a living expression of our shared faith, gifts, and service.
The Stewardship Tree is an interactive display that grows leaf by leaf as we name the many ways we give of ourselves to our church and the world.
Each leaf represents a beloved member of our community and the unique ways they offer their time, energy, and care.
Here’s how it works:
Simply write your name on one side of a leaf and list the ministries, activities, or acts of service you’re part of on the other.
As the weeks go by, our tree will grow with the richness of our collective offerings. Whether you serve on a ministry, bring snacks for coffee hour, volunteer at the food bank, offer prayers at home, or even bring your compost to the garden—every act of love counts. Let’s fill the branches
with gratitude, presence, and joy. Every leaf is a testament to how we embody the heart of St. Bart’s.
Come add your leaf!
